This ones on us. Boise doesn't bring many fans.

Boise doesn't bring many fans this weekend in or in general?
Because they definitely travel well.

Maybe to Oregon State. Not to Laramie. I can't remember a game in Laramie when there were a bunch of Boise fans. They're better than CSU, but I would be surprised if there are more than 500 of them on Saturday.
Last Boise game I went to in Laramie, there were thousands of Boise fans there.

There are zero rooms available in Laramie right now. There were very few a week ago. Those rooms aren't all Wyoming fans....

They traveled over ten thousand to LV for a bowl game I attended. At least five thousand to a Utah game in SLC I attended...

Boise is probably the top traveling fan base in the conference.

I love you like a cousin, but you must have been high off your ass at the last Donk game you went to in Laramie. No game featuring the Donkies and UW in Laramie EVER featured "thousands" of visiting Donk fans. Ever. Hundreds? Sure...500 maybe. Maybe you are confusing tilts in Laramie against Ole Miss, or Vaginia, or Texass, or Knebraska...for Boise?! LOL!

There have been zero rooms in Laramie for this game, ever since (and maybe before) 10/9/16...and I would wager that less than 2% are Donk fans...if that. The bulk of the hotel rooms in Laramie for football are booked well before the summer ends anyway.

To give their fan base accolades for traveling 10,000 to the Las Vegas bowl...is kind of funny as well - and certainly not impressive. UW surpassed that in 2004. And would surpass it December 17th this year, if it happens.

I have a strange feeling you are dating somebody from Boise by the tone of your post. :thumb:
I remember at least 20k to the last NM bowl.........I would imagine that Vegas would draw at least 25-30k Wyoming fans

we rarely get that many in Laramie.

It will be extremely disappointing to me if the stadium is not close to full come Saturday. These kids have worked hard and put themselves in a place to have great success. They have said how they are working for a fanbase that has had years of no success. They deserve our support.

Looks like three sections sold out at this time. One of which is above the Boise secretion telling me there will be a lot of Boise fans at the game

Band Day. That's all the band kids and their parents from around the state.

My mistake you are correct. Should be a decent turnout but not what it should be. I'm sure a lot of shell shocked fans who have witnessed too many blowouts to ranked teams.

I wish I could be there for it!

I hope you guys bring it on Saturday, I want it to be a loud raucous environment. This is for the Mtn Division Title, if you guys can't fill it up i'm going to be very disappointed.

I vote we shut down the bars in Laramie at gametime and disconnect the cable lines to all the houses in town. Therefore everyone will have no choice but to head to the stadium to watch.

Really though 65 degrees and no precipitation?!?! If we were dealing with 20 degrees I could understand but this is a no brainer. And the 5PM time slot allows for copious tailgating with the game also ending not late at all.

Get your friends and family and anyone in the area on board. Every seat matters

No sell out likely, but a very good crowd should be there. It's been a long time since Wyoming fans have had to bring it

That is so true, we haven't had to bring it in a long time. I think a lot of fans have been down this road before and have been burned though. The only game that I remember being this anticipated and it worked out good for Wyo was the Virginia game quite a few years back. Every other time we have gotten blasted with a game like this. I really believe this game is going to be a great game and close the whole time. I am expecting a W for the pokes but there is this vision in my mind of the first Boise st. game in laramie I went to in 2002 or 2003 when Boise was up 14 to 0 before I even sat down in my seat and I heard the opening kickoff cannon go off while I was in the ticket line. ouch! I think this one will be like the 2007 game that we lost 17-10 but this time we have Josh Allen and not Jake Doss at QB and both teams don't have defenses as good as that year so we win 35-28!

I will say that given the state of Wyoming economy we should feel fortunate that we have as many fans as we do to the games.

Cheyenne and Laramie and Casper need to step up to the plate and fill the war on Saturday

It's not like we routinely used to sell out the War...ever. This is pretty good. Could be better, could be worse. It's not like the stadium's going to be empty. Dang. This is probably going to be the most Wyoming fans in the War in almost two decades (assuming there's a bigger crowd than for Air Force).

Lol. And people complained about the reduced capacity with the Wildcatter expansion a few years ago, we still can't fill it up...

What sport will have a sell out next and when? Football or men's basketball?

I'll say football, and I'll get greedy and say next year vs CSU

The 2010 Boise St game had a attendance of 29014. I believe it was also 5pm start and we were not playing for a MWC title.
