Pac 12 teams getting a makeover

Today Arizona State released it's rebranding for all sports and there will be no more Sparky. He has been replaced with the pitchfork. Here's what the football team now looks like

Utah has made claims that they will also release a facelift of their logos and uniforms across sports. Colorado I presume will also go for a new look this year. Probably throwing back a little bit to the 90's. The Pac-12 is going to look pretty different this year across all sports.

One cool part of ASU's jerseys is on the neck patch they have PT 42... a tribute to Pat Tillman.

I like the WSU uniforms, but man, those ASU ones are UGLY. I liked their uniforms for the most part.

What I'm wondering is if this whole matte helmet thing is gonna die out. First it was Missouri two years ago. Then last year it started to pick up:
Virginia Tech
West Virginia
Oregon
Oregon State

And with the first 2 major updates of the year, both Washington State and Arizona State (AZ St. has 2 now) have matte helmets. How long before all the shiny helmets are gone haha? I love UW's pearl helmets and hope they never disappear.

I love the Matte helmet look! I'm not a huge fan of the shiny glittery helmets! Why on earth would you put glitter in the paint of a helmet?

Had a friend of mine(WSU student) who really didn't like the gray on gray helmet. Said he wishes they would gone with the pro-combat type helmet Boise State wore against Virginia Tech and Utah. The full Cougars logo on the side of a crimson helmet would have been pretty cool.

That is one badass helmet! Maybe UW could go with steamboat type thing similar to that across the whole helmet! I like ASU's uni's but it looks like they should be on the NFL Blitz video game!

Why not? Its fun to change them once in a while. Its a uniform and they shouldnt have to only cater to the traditionalists :thumb:

I'm still on board with the barb wire look next time UW makes a uni change. I think if it has a contrasting outline it will stand out and look badass.

Uni changes are interesting, Steamboat is a keeper though, modifying how it shows up on the helmet is fine.

I will be right behind you in that one! I hated it when they changed the colors to that "prarie gold" color...what a joke!! I can't believe I had to wear that crap while I was there.
