Whatever happened to that Taj Mowry *smart guy" kid, didnt we have him for like a semester?
He was here. Was on the football team. Didn't do a damn thing. I think he was a walk on or something though.

I tell you what, if the Pokes can bring P Diddy's son to Laramie, that would give a huge boost to the program. Definitely don't underestimate what a little star power can do to put your team on the map. A couple of years ago Montana had John Stockton's son, Houston, on the team, as well as Jeff Fisher's son, Brandon, and now have Joe Montana's son, Nate, on the team. Not only is that some good pub for a smaller team (especially if the game is on ESPN, where they ALWAYS find the ol' man in the stands), but can be good to bring in some $$$ to the program. Griz basketball also had John Stockton's nephew, Shawn, on the team. Plus, in a place like Laramie, the media attention to the kid itself isn't going to be nearly as crazy as if the kid ended up at Illinois or somewhere near a bigger city.. smaller schools might provide a bit of privacy to the kid. And of course, most of the blue hairs in the stands at War Memorial would have no idea who Diddy was if he walked past them. :thumb:

Truth be told, even though I'm only 22, I probably wouldn't recognize P Diddy myself. I don't listen to rap.

You don't have to listen to wrap to spot someone. The guy is in a ton of commercials as well.

Don't watch too much TV either. There's a few shows that I watch, but that's about it.

He'd be in the most expensive car in town, and have a good chunk of Wildcatter filled with himself and his entourage...lol

1. I walk to the War a few hours before it starts (for Tailgate Park) and well before many of the parking spots are taken.
2. I sit below the Wildcatter Suites, so I'm not really looking into them. Bad angle.
3. I know basically jackshit about cars other than driving, changing tires, putting the gas in, oil check, and brand logos. I don't know much about deigns. At all.

Though I'm sure there'll be plenty of people pointing him out for me anyways.

Why wouldn't DC want media attention on the Cowboys? Branding Wyoming as a place where a famous Dad and son can enjoy football would help put UW football on the national radar.. which would help recruiting. Imagine if Diddy was photographed by the paparazzi wearing brown and gold around LA (or where ever he lives) or at a game in Laramie or .....? Boom, UW front and center of the world watching.

Not exactly what I meant. I meant media people clamoring to watch the practices, disrupting plays, and distracting the players. That kind of thing. If P. Diddy was photographed wearing the Brown & Gold, that's one thing (which would be kind of cool), but wasn't the point I was trying to make.
