There are some rational BSU fans over there, but a good majority makes you wonder if they would even be on there if BSU had a single 6-6 season or osmething like that.

Winning will produce bandwagon fans, and BSU no doubt has a lot of them. You go to UW fromolwyoming, I guarantee you this fall you will see tons of UW students going to the games that wouldn't otherwise if the team weren't winning. And given time, if UW wins at a high level and repetitively, watch people get cocky real fast. Before you know it Wyoming fans will be "the worst fans out there".

I'm already a pain in the ass to the posters on Sports Hawaii (there are two exceptions on that board). I always give them this score to get them to shut up about how good UH is (which they aren't!!!!)...

I use to Root for FSU and PSU but that was quite a few years ago and it's in the past now. I Rooted for anyone in the MWC they were playing anyone outside of the MWC.

Now I just root for Wyoming there are a lot of teams I can't stand but we'll leave that for a different thread.

Interesting comments about the BSU fans. I had no idea that so many people on here had problems with them. I had no opinion, and really still don't, but I went to the Wyo/BSU game last year at the Smurf Turf and as much as I hate to admit it, the people we saw were actually very nice, both before and after the game. I even think I remember one family coming over to our table at a restaurant right after the game and personally thanking us for making the trip. Like J-Rod said, all teams have fans from both ends of the spectrum.. Except CSU and SDSU.. they all suck hahaha!

We also were in Boise for the UW game and had several groups of BSU fans thanked our group for coming to the game. We were in laramie for the '10 BSU game and sat in the BSU visitors section and thought the majority of those BSU fans that traveled with the team were pukes. Expecially the girl who sat next to me who was from Casper! Teams we root for....wife went to EWU, so them for sure. One of her granddaughters ran track at Oregon, so them. The other granddaughter runs hurdles at BSU, so them when they are not playing the Cowboys. Oh, and Nevada when they play BSU.
