OT: Teddy?

Not liking the Teddy pick to Vikings.........I now it might be played out but can't stop looking at the tiny gloved hands playing in a division with adverse weather. :twocents:

Texans taking another Carr?

Vikings have been high on Bridgewater for years. They were ecstatic that he fell to them.

Carr to the Texans would be interesting. There's a lot of aversion from the fans due to how badly David played there, but I think that Derek has more upside.

I thought that was the best pick of the draft! The vikings didn't sell the farm for the pick and he will pretty clearly be better than anyone the Vikings have had in awhile. You don't need Peyton Manning when you have Adrian Peterson (yes even an aging AP).

There is anothere reason why it helps to take the QB at the end of Round 1 rather than beginning of Round 2...The club gets a 5th year option on a first round pick! If Bridgewater turns out to be good, this will save the Vikings many millions. Options only benefit one party (in this case the club).

Peyton Manning wears gloves. So does Tom Brady. His hands are bigger than Kaepernick's.

Manning Brady....different level. Kaepernick has a unique skill-set......not knocking the guy just worried that he won't pan out.....etc..... Armchair GM syndrome :coffee:

This Vikings fan is A-OK with the Bridgewater pick. It wasn't that long ago that he was in the mix to be taken #1 overall and certainly expected to be the first QB off the board. A combination of dumbass personnel people thinking that one pro day means more than a body of work on the field and a glut of QBs entering the draft made it possible to get a QB of that caliber that late in the draft, and I for one thank the stars for aligning.

You're worried based on a bunch of useless chatter generated by bored and/or not real knowledgeable draft scouts. The things these "scouts" came up with and decided to share with the world were baffling at times.. proof positive that stretching the draft out another month was really dumb.

Its really true about small handed Qbs struggling in cold weather. It will be at least two years before he plays in their new dome. I thought Carr and Borttels are the best pocket passers in the draft.

Don't like Minnesota. Don't like TB.
I laugh at anyone who thought that Derek Carr would go to Houston. Be "theriouth".
