OT since the OT board is hardly visited

Does anyone know if there is Fire in the Sky this year? It is not listed on the schedule for Jubilee Days for some reason. Also need to know because I have family that may be coming that weekend for it.

OlWyo, I am pretty sure there is no public fireworks show in Laramie this year. IIRC, I saw an article in the Boomerang shortly after I moved to Laramie last summer saying the powers that be decided to discontinue the fireworks. [Last year there was a weather problem on July 4 that caused a postponement, IIRC.]

The show is on according to the boomerang - just not done by jubilee days this year.
No concert though.

"Laramie’s annual Fire in the Sky fireworks celebration is scheduled for the Fourth of July as in years past, but it will be sponsored by the city of Laramie instead of Laramie Jubilee Days this summer."

Yeah, that "postponement" turned into a complete cancellation. I went to it. The Lost Trailers were supposed to perform but then it rained, hard, for the rest of the night. Sucked because I wanted to see them perform.
