OT: NFL draft and your team's offseason

You know, I've been a 49er fan forever but I'm starting to "lose my affinity for them". I'm not tied to the city in any way and I'm not even sure why I was a fan.

Jed York (CEO) strikes me as a sniveling little rich kid who stomps his feet and throws a tantrum about people not agreeing with him. A leader in title and entitlement only.

Anyway, I'm not sure who the 49ers take. I honestly think it has been the worst offseason in NFL history. If you haven't read about it, retirements, free agents leaving, and pushing Jim H. out.

I've been a Steelers fan since I was a kid. I really respect how the Rooney family goes about their business. They keep coaches around forever, build through the draft, and usually get rid of bad apples in a hurry. (See trading Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes for a 4th round pick).

On the down side, they've needed to rebuild the secondary for YEARS now. It's a major hole for them this year, so they'll finally get it done, but they were counting on Troy Polamalu and the extremely over rated Ike Taylor to stick around forever.
 
I've been a Cowboys fan my entire life and there is always some drama going on with them but that is expected. I'm not as tied to the NFL as I once was. I like Football in general so I watch it anytime it is on.

We let some key defensive players go this off season which really hurt and makes very little sense to me. We'll see how the draft goes but I'm not expecting to much if anything at all.

I'm still interested to see if JaMarcus Russell 2.0 goes first in the draft or not.
 
JW will be picked first and we will see the former Ducks QB drop further than expected.

Winston goes 1.01...

Mariota goes 1.02 to some team who coughed up far too many assets for him...

Everything else is chaos from there. The Jaguars seem to be an annual lock to do something crazy with their pick.

Garrett Grayson goes in the early 2nd round, but CSU fans will continue to claim that losing him is no big deal. :lol:
 
Colts fan since I was a little guy. Not real sure why I became a colts fan but have stuck with them none the less. We need some help on the d-line but I would love to see Nzeocha end up there. Also follow the Donkeys too but I think Peyton doesn't see another Super Bowl and will retire after this year.
 
I've been a die hard fan of the 49ers, but last year I stopped watching the games every week. I'm tired of good hits being flagged and ruining the game. Then the front office "mutually" parts ways with Harbaugh which was a load of shit. The rat in the building, Ron Jeremy, gets hired and now the defensive coaching staff looks as bad as the offensive staff all so York and Baalke can pretend to be important. I'm curious whether Baalke will fuck up another draft like he does every other year.

If he's a suspect...gottdamn that is crazy. If they're just questioning him otherwise, I feel bad for him.

They won't need to. I can all but guarantee that the Bucs will take Winston (who will end up being JaMarcus Russel 2.0), so the Eagles will sell the farm to get up to #2.

I think they need to be #1 I'm not sold that Winston goes to Tampa in fact I'd be willing to bet Mariota or Winston could be drafted by the Buccs.
 
Last minute rumors going around about just that....Chip selling the farm to grab Marcus at 1.01.

He tried, They offered 3 1st round picks, Bradford and their star Defensive lineman so that was pretty much selling the farm.
 
Chris Petersen is getting blasted on Twitter. He had a national championship caliber roster and lost 6 games. Could have been more.

Almost lost to both Hawaii :rofl: and Eastern Washington. Only conference wins were against teams who were worse than the Huskies......and yet they had THREE NFL 1st round talent. :rofl:
