Kinda like in 2007 whenever a team got ranked # 2, it got beat the first weekend they were ranked that high. That was the most bizarre season I ever saw.

Yep, I remember that. I know #1 Arizona State went down early in 2010, now Florida this year.

Then again, in recent years, seems like nobody does well at the CWS unless your name is South Carolina.
 
The NCAA Championship will be South Carolina vs. Arizona. The Gamecocks are going for their 3rd straight title.

They'll have to be content with 2 straight. Arizona has been red-hot this post season and I don't think they've lost a game yet.
 
An unranked team wins it all. Congrats to the Wildcats.....this must sting for baseball juggernaut Arizona State. Still waiting...
 
That was a hell of a 9th inning last night. If AZ's 2nd baseman could have pulled off that double play it would have been one of the best plays I've ever seen!
