I don't watch Wyoming games because I'm superstitious.
Weak excuse....real fans watch no matter what.

So you're telling me if you watched every Wyoming game this year, they'd go 0-12?

Who gives a damn about baseball.

There's NO cheerleaders!!!!!

That's cool, keep hating on the most intellectual game out there.

Intellectual my ass! It's boring!!!!!

that's kinda my point okie!

According to your logic, NASCAR should be the Einstein of the sports world. Right?

Just because it's boring doesn't mean its intellectual, but if one finds baseball boring, well, there ya go. Football is probably the least intellectual. You have the beef up front that moves the other beef, you win. No amount of scheming is going to help you. You have guys that run faster than the other guy and more of them, you win.

Meh. Baseball sucks, and its boring. All sports require smarts. Bottom line: skill to execute the scheme.

Regarding the topic, I have to pick South Carolina, lots of relatives down there. They play baseball literally 10 months a year there. My nephew starts club ball practice in late february and plays through mid june. Then he starts school baseball practice in late july and that goes until early november. December and January are the only 2 months they don't play. He is 14 and his club team is ranked #3 in the nation according to my brother in law.

Now that I think about it, they really dig their golf, football, baseball, basketball, and nascar down there.

Getting a 3rd national championship in a row would be unprecedented. They are a juggernaut for sure. They can lose all kinds of players and still be better than everyone else.

Kinda like Boise State in football.

Essentially yes, except without the national championships part. Comes down to coaching. Superior coaching + solid recruiting = consistent success.

You get my point. I knew about the lack of national titles at Boise.

I did...as I said, all comes down to coaching and recruiting. That's what keeps teams like So. Carolina an Boise on top all the time.

Sadly, Wyoming has neither.

Not at that level anyways....recruiting is improving...we'll have to see on coaching. CDC has his WTF moments...particularly in big games. Jury's still out on him.

Anyways, back to the topic.....South Carolina has to have a bit of edge for playing in Omaha so many times, but these underdogs Stony Brook and Kent State are on fire. If they can go into Eugene and Baton Rouge and pull off shockers, they have a shot in Omaha.

So much for the underdogs.....The PAC-12 is owning this tournament.

fyp
Had yes them too.....evenly split right now. Zona is in the drivers seat, with UCLA still in it. The other USC, Florida, and Arkansas are still alive too. Rooting for Zona....would be funny to see them achieve the title ASU has been chasing for years.

In recent years, that #1 ranking seems to be a bad attachment.

Either way, go Kent State! The last remaining little guy is still fighting on....
