Yeesh.......pride comes before the fall......

The article says he had off field issues since the heisman. What other trouble has he been in besides this?

Still underage. Only by a year, but still.

That's weak. He probably got noticed because he was the big shot now.
We have tons of underage football players at the buck on any given weekend.
And if you really don't believe me....you think in a little fantasy world.

I have seen a certain QB in the buck before. He isn't our starter but he did play a little last season.
They all get in, bouncers don't check their IDs as long as a big well known guy comes in first. Along with all the jersey chasing co-eds.

I'm sure it is the same way in College Station.
I doubt that was Johnny Footballs first bar visit.
I doubt it was like "oh I won the Heisman, I am gonna go to the bars now".
I bet it was more like "well let's go to the (insert bar name here) tonight", then someone realized it was johnny football and then more attention got drawn to him.

Taking what I said WAY out of context. All I said, and ALL I meant was that he just a bit underage to be in there. Never said anything otherwise, one way or the other. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a simple statement.

And yes, I would be surprised if some underage Cowboy players didn't go to the bars in Laramie, but not what I was talking about.

I wasn't really taking what YOU said out of context I was more speaking of the story. The whole "he has been in trouble since his Heisman and he is letting success change him" from what the writer of the story said.

It could be stupidity or just dumb luck, or a little bit of both that could happen to any college kid that isn't 21, athlete or not.

He was with his mom in the pictures of him drinking liquor. Texas law permits a minor to consume alcohol if they are present and approves. Still I hope his EGO stays in check. This kid is an amazing talent. Hate to see him go down that path.
