Oregon thoughts

The Cowboys will not embarass themselves.
Wyo - 10
Oregon - 27

The Ducks will show frustration with a pesky Wyo defense. The Wyo offense has a couple good series but not enough to win game.

I'd be happy if they somehow held them under 40. But, I figure the Ducks will roll 48 on the Pokes.

Ducks 48, Pokes 17.

I'd be even happier if we came out injury free.

Probably can find this somewhere else, but any info on TV for this game?

You know, Comcast recently made some major upgrades to Laramie cable with more channels (that come with the package and others that you can order) which includes Japanese channels, more sports channels, the SEC network, and even a few more movie channels. But despite all that, no Pac 12 network.

Just going off history. A Bohl led team has NEVER been blown out by a "superior" team. Closest would be the Bison loss to Iowa State in 2009. It was by 17 points.

I realize that it is Oregon. Yada yada. People were talking about KSU in 2013 in hallowed tones too. We all know how that turned. Have faith. Any given saturday.

I have Comcast here in Utah. Pac12 comes with Digital Starter package I believe. They had a "Sports Package special" for like 10 buck a month.

KSU - hallowed tones?!

KSU's team in 2013 couldn't hold Oregon's jock strap . Oregon would ROLL them by 50.

I agree about having faith though. There is a reason the game is played.

I don't expect much though. And that is probably a product of watching DC led UW teams piss themselves against any moderate to big-time opponent.

Have to agree, NDSU never played anyone as salty as Oregon during Bohl's tenure. IMO, last year's NDSU team would lose by at least 30 to Oregon. But you never know...

I ride the highs and lows of being a Wyoming fan like anyone on here I suppose. I had the privilege of working for the Pokes when I was an undergrad at Laramie, filming defense for Coach Breske and really enjoying Coach Joe. Having been a fan for as long as I have and with my direct connection with the program, I think that Wyoming athletics has made my blood brown and gold and I would love to say we win against Oregon.

But I don't think that we will. I have no expectations on this game and really just want us to come out injury free and with a massive insight into the character of our team and how they respond to a different type of adversity that we will see with Oregon. I say we get through the Ducks and Sparty in one piece and make noise in the MWC. I think our team will learn alot about itself in these games, but I would rather get the "Boot" back from those smug bastards down south than risk tearing our team apart against heavy competition with very little proven depth in key position areas on our team.

It may sound defeatist, but I think that is the reality we face here. Would I love the win, against either or both, of course! But I just dont see it happening. And if we win, I will not be like some and come back and say that I knew it...I will admit to being surprised and move on from there!

If we lose this close or bad, I'll be happy as long as Bohl and co at least play to win.

Bohl only and always plays to win.
That may be, but no matter how you look at it, we're out gunned going into this game. If Bohl pulls it off, everyone on here would be glad to be proven wrong. As it is though, so long as no one gets hurt, we'll call it good.

Threat level (1-5 scale): 1. Wyoming is rebuilding under newcomers Bohl and Kirkegaard and has had trouble scoring this season.

Early prediction: Oregon 56, Wyoming 10

it'll sure be closer than a 43 pt spread, look at South Dakota, they didn't beat them by that much in the 1st game

62 to 13 Ducks won... I believe, if my deciphering is right... 49 point margin.

Its also not a great Coyotes team, though. I expect the Grizzlies will handle them fairly easily Saturday night in Missoula.
