I think Vigen can develop from last year. Probably was a wake up call with the loss against San Jose ( it very well could be the worse loss in program history). It was easier to play call at NDSU as they had superior talent when compared to most of their peer schools. 2016 was an anomaly talent wise on offense, so he looked sharp.
Count me as one who thinks our numbers actually improve from last year because of better running game and more consistent line play. I think Vigen adds some wrinkles, maybe a pass on 2nd down or two.
