Wyoming has sucked vs spread offenses. I watched new mexico last night. Their option is very spread resemblance plays. Biggest game in a years.

Good thing N.M. doesn't run a spread offense. They run a triple option-style offense. We defend that very well, imo. Or at least we shut down Air Force's

Was encouraged by the play of Shiloh Windsor. As a true freshman, he is coming along nicely. Too bad we've had so many injuries along the Dline this year and had to pull off his redshirt. Losing Appleby hurts and takes away one of our only upperclassman Dlineman. But Ghaifan, Cain, Nela, Prosser, etc are playing well.

I noticed Windsor as well. Probably shouldn't be playing yet physically (needs at least 20 more lbs, probably more), but played well.

Our DL will be much better in a couple of years as all of these guys mature.

I watched UNM @ CSU, as well. UNM on the majority of the plays had at least one fullback down, sometimes two, and another guy in motion that was sometimes in the tackle box when snapped. I think it's more similar to Air Force than UNLV.

UNM couldn't pass worth a crap, though. So that mean they'll look like world beaters against us lol. As long as we shut down one phase, run or pass, we'll be OK. If they're getting 6 yards a run, we may be screwed.

UNM's structure is quite a bit different from AFA though. I am not well equipped to discuss the nuances, but they seem to have a lot more motion and on any given play they have 3 or 4 home run threats as potential runners (including Jordan if he is playing QB). I think their offense is much better than AFA's.

On the flip side, their defense kind of sucks. It will be another shootout. Hopefully it goes more like the Nevada game than the UNLV game, but I would be surprised if both teams don't top 30 and the winner doesn't get 40.

We are only 3 pt. favorites Saturday. I guess we are still somewhat suspect on the road to the bookies after the Vegas game. After watching them fall apart against csewe, I'm thinking we can hang 60 on them.

No, but the motion guys are not wishbone. Like was mentioned earlier, more of a pistol motion.

And the one qb they have can't throw at all but is a great runner. The other one they have can't hardly run but is a decent passer.
