One week!

I'm very excited as well! Classes at OSU don't start until late September (stupid quarter system), so I am not even on campus for the first three games. I will be watching on a brand new HDTV that I saved up for over the summer while working. I do, however, have student season tickets for the home games, so I am pumped for my first one, which is going to be against Eastern Michigan.
 
HDTV@ college? good thing I didn't have that back in the day. There was already too much drunken mario-kart! I can't imagine COD 2 in HD back in the day!

I'm not at school yet. OSU starts in late September. I saved up money over the summer so my family could have an HDTV (they were stubborn to adopt it. Luddites.). I will not have an HDTV at school (or any TV) for the reason you describe. Too many to miss out on. If I want to watch TV, I'll go to a friend's dorm. Lots of people have HDTV in dorms now and play video games all the time. Not for me.
