I really want the Pokes to put up 40+ to show that the offense is legit.
I would really like to see the defense hold them under 20.

The Pokes scoring a bunch would just show others what we already know, the offense is for real. But the defense holding them under 20 would show us that yeah the defense is probably for real.

The "speed" of Nebraska didn't pester him, why on earth would the speed of AFA pester him?
AFA will surprise people with their passing? How? By actually passing 10 times in a game?

AFA gave up 52 and 42 to USU and Boise. And put up 20 on both of those defenses.
There is no reason the Wyo-AFA game shouldn't go like both of those went.

You got to be kidding. A person is automatically an AFA fan because they don't think we will blow out AFA?? In all my years watching Wyoming football, I can't recall Wyoming ever completely dominating Air Force. No matter the circumstances, Air Force always has the capability of beating us.

I remember similar posts in the past prior to the Bowling Green and Utah State games...or should I say debacles.

It seems like Wyoming/Air Force games are always, nailbiters, but I like what I have seen from the Pokes so far this year. Everything feels really positive. I think Wyoming gets a rare going-away win over the Flyboys. Wyoming wins 33-17.

Here's the year-by-year scores in the series....1965's win over the Falcons (31-14) is really the only blowout we had against AFA although there are some (1967, 1993, & 2004) might be considered blowouts.

I am torn on this one. No matter how much AFA seems "down" we have traditionally always played them close. And vice versa. We could have a "down team" and usually compete. Last year we should have won the game without Smith. I think Awini is a better player than his last name indicates. I want nothing more than a royal and epic beatdown on Calhoun.

Weather is looking sunny. Wish it wasn't so dam late of game, but anyway....

If Wyoming scores 35 points we win. If our offense isnt firing (like UNC) we don't score 35....we lose.

Wyoming wins big again, the Air Force defense has no chance, due in part they have not shown they can really stop anyone as of yet. Wyoming wins 47-20
