Fire everyone... brutal
But don't worry Burman is going to slink away to the shadows and nothing will change because too much money is owed to Sawvel. We’re somehow worse than last year.![]()
Meh. We gave up over 200 yards rushing. The offense did mostly nothing until they got a short field on a fumble recovery. We were outplayed for most of the game. And in the end, Anderson made the same poor decisions that he's made all year. Drube should have started and played the entire game. Anderson is not the future and the offense has done nothing with him at the helm. And if you're getting pushed around on your home field by a 3 win team, I would suggest that pulling this game out of the fire doesn't change the fact that this one of the worst, if not the worst team in the MWC.Much limping in Laramie this evening from shooting themselves in the foot so many times.
Wyoming had the ball at the 2 yard line and 16 seconds on the clock. They failed to score and the clock ran out.I missed the game, my mom’s 90th birthday. I’m glad that I did.
But I am curious, was there a late TD that was called back for UW??
Okay thanks. I was told there was a controversial catch for a TD and it was ruled he was OB. It sounded like many thought his foot came down inbounds…..Wyoming had the ball at the 2 yard line and 16 seconds on the clock. They failed to score and the clock ran out.
He caught it inbound. It was a TD in my opinion.Okay thanks. I was told there was a controversial catch for a TD and it was ruled he was OB. It sounded like many thought his foot came down inbounds…..
They said he did not complete the catch before dropping the ball. There was still 16 seconds left and 2 downs left with ball at the 2 yard line. Anyone but Wyoming would make sure the ball was either thrown into the end zone or thrown away. Instead Wyoming completes a pass behind the line of scrimmage and Nevada tackles the ball carrier and makes sure not to let him up to eat up time to run another play.He caught it inbound. It was a TD in my opinion.
Supposedly the call was he didn’t have control after the replay showed a catch, one foot down and a solid grasp of the ball until he landed and lost the ball.He caught it inbound. It was a TD in my opinion.
You have Burman at AD who hired Sawful to a 5 year guaranteed contract to “keep players from entering the portal”.Absolutely brutal.
How do you lose at home, to a bottom 10 (out of 136 by the way) team on Josh Allen day?
“That’s some repugnant shit.” (Jules Winfield)
That's a touchdown if you have control in bounds and control till you land on the ground.Supposedly the call was he didn’t have control after the replay showed a catch, one foot down and a solid grasp of the ball until he landed and lost the ball.
It sure looked like he had control of the ball unless as he was going down he really didn’t have control. I couldn’t see the ball until he hit the ground but it sure looked in the grasp as he put his left foot in the end zone. That's a touchdown if you have control in bounds and control till you land on the ground.
I didn’t tune in until we were down 10-0 in the third. To be quite honest, it’s kind of amazing that we’ve won 4 games (and almost 6) with Anderson at QB.
He has been pretty bad. I am not sure what the thinking is with continuing to run him out there. After the way he has performed this year, I just don’t see any way he can be the starting QB next year. If that’s the case, then why don’t we find out what we have on the bench so we know how hard we have to look for a transfer in the offseason.
We need to get an idea of what we have in Drube. Is he the likely answer next year or not? I’m not sure you can learn that solely from practice. He needs at least a game to see what he can do. Will they give him a chance against Hawaii?
