Uniforms.

I don't know what recruits are "into" in terms of uniforms...schools like Alabama, Auburn and Michigan seem to do ok with a classic look. This said, I don't want to hamstring our recruiting, but hope that we can get away from the craptastic combinations we have seen to date. We don't have Oregon-esque "flair" (and I think they look goofey most of the time) and I think we look silly in some of the unis we have clad our Pokes in recently.

I note that NDSU didn't have player names on their uniforms at K-State...I also remember that Wyoming didn't have them on the unis during the heyday. IMHO, we certainly need to abandon the HONOR, FREEDOM and DUTY stuff, as it came off as hokey, at least to me.

This is one of the things you old timers are just going to have to let go. Kids love all the uniforms you think are ugly. And it helps with recruiting. Alabama gets away with traditional uniforms because they are Alabama. If we have an Alabama type history then yeah we can go back to traditional. But now we need every tool in the box to get kids to come to laramie over schools we are competing with for recruits.

The new uniforms simply look better....And as a member of the military, I love that the university has enough respect and appreciation of the armed forces to have the camo uni with the core values on the back. I hope we keep the current uniforms and get even crazier, wonkier, craptasitcally better uniforms.

To me, so long as I am seeing the uniforms in the correct end zone and pancaked on top of the opponent, they could be pink with lime green stripes.

Do you think the team this year, with those old uniforms would have won more games? Or do you think those old school winning teams would have won less with the new uniforms? I think once the team starts winning all this uniform nonsense will go away. Were so damn tired of being beaten down that we seam to nit pick everything. To me, this is a non-issue.

O.K. I am a card carrying Old Fart (at age 59). If you look at the NDSU highlights they don't have this crazy array of uniforms. They have a home uniform and away uniform. Instead of putting pink bison on their helmets and wearing 1,800 combinations, they concentrate on beating the snot out of their opponents. We don't need fashionistas, we need tough, hard-nosed SOBs who want to clobber the crap out of their opponents.

Throw rocks, if you will, but I say bring back the 1967 (Sugar Bowl) uniforms and call it good. Then go out and beat the holy living crap out of the opponent.

Craig Bohl doesn't seem like he's got a member of the fashion police on his speed dial. He's old school. He might not know how to use speed dial and I doubt he gives a shit about "Swag". Thank god, because the horrible camo abortions and duck feather shoulder accents(I know they reinforce the strength of the jersey) need to get dumped in the Laramie river.

If we have to keep one scheme, give me the brown pants, brown helmets, and yellow jerseys as one kit and brown pants, white jersey, white helmets for the other.

I would not mind cutting back our combination choices. I do hope they keep the brown helmets, my favorite looks were all white for road, gold pants with brown jerseys and brown helmet, the traditional, and the brown pants gold jersey brown helmet combo.

Yeah I almost got into a fight with some old douche who wanted us to sit down. He pulled out some shit about how he paid for those seats. Well no shit so did everyone else including the students. I'm sure I paid more in fees in one semester than he did for his 3 general admin tickets. Had 15 buddies waiting for him to throw the first punch then he was gonna get jumped.

Yeah I almost got into a fight with some old douche who wanted us to sit down. He pulled out some shit about how he paid for those seats. Well no shit so did everyone else including the students. I'm sure I paid more in fees in one semester than he did for his 3 general admin tickets. Had 15 buddies waiting for him to throw the first punch then he was gonna get jumped.

I've never understood why they feel entitled to their way and no one elses. I had numerous similar situations the first time I was a student in Laramie and they people always thought because they bought a ticket in that section it meant every one needed to accommodate them. Pissed me off honestly.

THEY WERE AWESOME!!!!! I loved the color scheme and the bucking horse in the middle. Loved it. Can't wait to see them again! There is nothing wrong with a little spice every now and then boys.
