On the road to Albuquerque

I'm on the highway between Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Just got passed by a Suburban from Cheyenne. They are all in brown and gold like us. Lots of waiving between the cars. The excitement is building!

Just walked into a convenience store/restuarant in Trinidad, Colorado. Open the door and hear a loud "Go Pokes"! C-store clerk says there's been a real steady stream of Poke fans. Wanted to know if there's a game or something going on.

Here's a video clip just entering New Mexico. Had a couple more poke fans pass us waiving flags, etc. Guess Mrs Dread Pirate drives slow.

been out of town on business 2 days posting from phone, got home ready to hit the road, 14 degrees and thick fog. dropping off daughter at friends, wife and son in tow. levity is cool i was joking as well, it doesnt come across that way in print, sorry. hell yeah! driving all night probably sleep in pueblo, then scoot over to alb in time for tailgate.

40s is shorts weather compared to -25 last week.

sleep time, desk clerk said folks across the hall are from wyo and going to nm as well, will have to say hi in the morning.

We may have passed eachother. I was driving a dark silver / taninsh cadillac with two gold wyoming flags flying. It was nice to see so many wyoming fans on the way down.
