Perhaps. But the list I gave only represents about 5-10% of all media guides (pro and college) media guides I've had at one time or another. Not to mention programs....

I could give a better list but I can do that another time. Watching the first season of "Chuck" on DVD now.

It dips down exactly like Washington for the exact same reason that Washington does. Both have borders that are defined by lines of latitude. On a flat surface, the difference in appearance between a curved and straight northern boarder depends on the map projection one uses. It is legitimate. Many of the states west of the Mississippi River should have the same appearance.

:oops: Well that's just embarrassing. You live somewhere you're whole life and not notice how much it dips. I guess I just look at a map like this and flatten it out in my head. Even more embarrassing is I worked for a civil engineering company for 3 years and all we looked at was maps. That being said it... looks a little exaggerated.
