Old A.A. floor logo help

Hey guys I am trying to render a copy of Wyoming's old basketball court and I'm trying to reproduce some of the logos featured on the court. The one in question is the 1991 court. It appears to me as steamboat inside ( (an oddly shaped?) silhouette of Wyoming. If anyone has a picture or could fill me in on what it was I'd be very grateful. All I got up to this point is this screen cap from a youtube video. I watched some others but nothing seemed to be very clear.

looks like wyoming WITH the yellowstone borders included

Exactly what it was. And it looked just as retarded then, as it does now.

+1 Parts of Yellowstone are actually in Idaho and Montana. So anybody living ouside of the region woulda had assumed O.K. so ALL of Yellowstone is in Wyoming which we know isn't true.

That always pissed me off whenever I saw that.

Are you sure that photo/video was not taken in the MultiPurpose Gymnasium ("MPG")? I know the Cowgirls played there and not in the A-A when I was in school a couple years after 1991.

The wall behind the basketball standard in the background looks like it is in the much smaller venue that had white/off-white walls, if my member serves me correctly.

I'm pretty sure that is the MPG, Before it was renamed the UniWyo Sports Complex. Even in 91 the AA didn't look like that as I lived in Laramie at that time and went to nearly every Cowboys game and I can't recall that being the AA.

Thats the double A, the MPG would have volleyball lines on the floor.

Correct, Early 80's AA. The gray padded walls were replaced with brown sometime in the late 80's I believe, really "dressing" the joint up. Forgot how plain it looked in it's beginning.

You're talking about the early 80's and the picture said 91. So apparently there is some confusion but regardless I don't recall the wall ever being that close to the end line and I spent a lot of time in the AA from 87-94 either way not sure picture doesn't provide enough detail.

My bad. You are right.

Sorry guys it's definitely the AA. I have videos of Slater playing on this court like KansasCowboy mentioned. Just none of them are clear at all. I find it really odd how the top part of the state dips down almost like Washington. Crappy logo :/

Again, Late 80's early 90's. I watched Reggie Slater and Benny Dees on that court.

I have a pic of it in my 91-92 media guide. It's also the same in my 87-88 guide. In looking at my guides it looks like it changed to the Cowboy logo at center court and no states sillouhets with Cowboy logos on the sides in the 93-94 guide.

I think I have the same two media guides. I know I have the 91-92 media guide.

Just checked. I don't have the 87-88 guide but I do have the 88-89 guide courtsey of Gerorge Kay, himself. He gave me when he first met me in 1989.

I used to have EVERY Wyoming football media guide from 1988 & from 1991 to 2009 (they stop making them after 2009 which sucks big time). But I got rid of all of the ones from the Vic Keonning hell period!

I do have a bunch of basketball media guides but got rid of the ones from the Joby Wright era  and just have a couple from the MClain era.

Nice. I've got football guides from 81. then 83-89 and 91,92 then 94-99 and then it gets scattered, I've got an 04 and 07 and 08. I've also got the Cowboy Rag Times Centennial Edition (100 years, Million Cheers) Sept, 4, 93.
Basketball I've got 86-88, 90-95, 01, 03. And that is it, i gave up after the bad years.
I also have a MWC media guide for basketball 2002, and football 2005.
