Okay---- Streaming today game

Okay, I'll have to ask again today to see if anyone is going to stream the game against Okla-pan.
It's my only option these days when we are not on root. Especially disapointed in our TV package but we'll move on that horse is dead.

Stream is going to be really shitty but I'll have it up.

Send Kevin an email with the settings they need or ask who is in charge. They will gladly change them.

Give me an address of who I can email and help with the broadcast settings and I gladly will, I have emailed 3-4 different people at UW and no one can directly me to the right place so I just gave up.

I sent an email we'll see if there is actually a response. I never thought about it before but maybe CBSSports charges more for a high bandwidth package that Wyoming doesn't know they need to refuses to pay for.

I don't know about everyone else but I thoroughly enjoyed being able to hear Dave & Kevin during their "off" moments. I was cracking up even though they didn't really say anything all that entertaining.
 
The video quality is just awful and always has been it's nothing like the quality of stream SMU or ISU has. It's been this way for a long time I emailed the guy and he apologized for the lag with the stream today. That kind of leads me to believe that no one in UW is ware how bad the quality of the stream is compared to other schools.

Is he going to fix it?
 
I watched some of the BYU-Utah game that was streamed off BYU TV HD and that quality was about as good as you get now days. (I am no fan of BYU)

Compare that to the UDUB feed and it makes you cringe. The Wyo feed has that hokie thing where they run immediate replays if Wyo scores whilst the game is going on so you are actually missing a large portion of the game.
The quality is really an embarrassment.

It's bad quality and the camera works is very amature which makes sense but you could tell the camera work for the ISU game was perfect camera work the difference between someone doing the job that is going to school for that and wants to vs maybe someone that is just doing it.

No Idea I emailed him back, I hope to hear something. He replied to me both times, I was pointing out the quality of the ISU stream vs our stream and he said he was going to see what he could find out that the software UW uses is very basic software. But even with $50 software from Xsplit I could produce a higher quality stream than what we have so hopefully this will get us moving in the right direction.

That BYU stream is serious HD like 4-6 meg upload HD, I swear that's not a web stream it's so crisp and clean. But bandwidth limitations in Utah non existent where in Laramie maybe the town just has shit internet.

The university Internet is crazy fast if they want it to be.
 
Ya I'm pretty sure the stream could be much better and I'm going to keep pushing until it gets better or I get email blocked lol.
