I was happy.. mad.. gave up.. excited, gave up again.... freeking out all in about 2 hrs on sat. (couldn't sleep Friday night.. and then couldn't sleep sat night because of the game!!!) And here we are Monday.. night before big game at USU don't expect much sleep tonight!

Keys to this game.. Cant have a slow start, or we cant have a 6 or 7 min scoring drought .. if we see that we need to POUND that ball inside.. I see cooke having a huge game as he has been pretty quite the past few games and I bet teams will focus on other players due to that.. I bet he has 5 dunks in this game!!!

USU has come a long ways this year.. Much better than I thought they would be but lets be honest.. WE should get this game..

Pokes 62 USU 54..

gotta get their bigs in foul trouble and be hitting outside shots!!! I'm scared about this one myself but with the cushion we've got somewhat this was a game that was gonna probably be a road loss
we steal this one also, 62-60, good numbers

I bet Coach will be disappointed if we give up 60 points.

He hasn't been as explosive in the previous two games. No big dunks, no big rebounds where he jumps out of the gym etc. He has been serviceable out there and is still a presence on defense but I think his back is really bothering him and limits his game right now. I hope it's something that gets better quickly as we need him to be at full strength.

Did you watch the same UNM game as I did? Yeah, he didn't do much in the way of points, but he contributed quite bit otherwise.

I think Cooke played very well and has been playing well. His FT % is bad but it seems like he makes 1 when we need him to.

Cooke is a very helpful player this season.

Crow, has been eaten by me.

I guess Cooke had a productive game against Fresno state. He just didn't seem to have the same explosive game against New Mexico.

Just remember that each game has different matchups. NM matched up well with the Pokes front line. You will see DC more involved tomorrow night as USU is a batter matchup for him.

I think this is going to be one of the interesting subplots. How does Shyatt handle Jalen Moore?

The closest recent comparison is playing Fresno, who also had a stretch 4 capable of hitting perimeter shots. Frankly, Watson torched us in that game. The concern against USU is that Moore is better than Watson and Collette is much more dangerous on offense than Alex Davis (FSU) was. Now, DC and Nance will be able to own the glass against USU, but we could be in a tough spot defensively.

It will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

He is a good player... who do we put on him for this game? Collette has come a long ways but I think if we shut down Moore we are in GERAT shape!!

Cooke and Nance should be stuffing some dunks down tonight, though. Pretty good matchup there for them.

Getting excited to watch them play in person finally!
