English has a LOT of work to do this week. Pathetic defense. PATHETIC. I jsut got home fromt he game, had to leave early, but the defense I saw was horrible. Tackling, tackling, tackling. And the secondary looked lost. I think the temp was great myself.
 
The loss of Gary, Mertens and Schober hurt i really think if they were still here/not injured we would have seen a different game cause we would have had decent run support i think we need to move Ghaali back to SS cause he has what 4 carries?

Yeah, don't think we'll see Browder for a while - and quite honestly, I think he should be kicked off the team. That'd teach the other potential morons to wisen up.

glad the pokes didn't brush their teeth this morning....cause they needed all the skin they could get
 
A few observations:

Brett Smith is a gamer. That kid had more heart than anyone I've ever seen!

Offense looks great. A few miscues here and there, but nothing that shouldn't be expected from the first game of the year.

Defense was BAD, especially the secondary. The front seven didn't look terrible, but the DBs couldn't have looked worse.

The thing I was most impressed with was that this team refused to pack it in. We aren't going to be the better team on the field at any point this season, but they'll win because they WANT to win.

It may not have been pretty, but a win is a win.

I've been at some parties in the badlands between Worland and Ten Sleep and had this happen.. I wasn't pleased.
 
I have question for people who were at the game. After we scored the go ahead touchdown and Weber was on that final drive we were called for a personal foul on a passing play, I think it was Ogbonna? From my point of view the ball was tipped and the receiver was taken down with a clean hit. If the ball is tipped, it's fair game and you can hit anyone on the field. I still don't understand why that was penalized. Can anyone explain what that penalty was about?
