Theres too much pride on this team. The offense surely struggles but the defensive effort will win this game.

Pokes get 7 from the D this week...
 
Bowling Green has gotten progressively worse as far as offensive points each week. Boise held them to 7 points, I am hopeful we can do the same. However, they have had two weeks to prepare for us.

I'll predict:

I am a bit undecided as to how many points the Pokes will score this week. Our offense has shown just enough signs of life at times to think we should be due for a break-out game that gets us rolling, but they have also made so many stupid mistakes I also wonder if I am seeing mirages when I think I am seeing a glimpse of potential. Still at the end of the day I think the boys show up at home to play and hang onto the ball for the most part.

13-10 on another Scott FG at the buzzer. This despite 3 turnovers, 1 each for D-Mo, Crum, and Sween. Crum gets put back in after Sween's 2nd pick 6 in as many weeks. Everything is peachy in la-la land and we get to hear just how tickled Glenn is for the kids and his staff who have just worked so hard for another comeback victory on our own turf against a lesser opponent from sea level. We will all be so elated that we just might not even practice next week, because we are just so damned good and Joe Glenn says so!
 
I am saying Wyoming wins 16-13, because our "defense will protect our offense." I am not gonna lie, I really disliked that quote from Glenn when I read it in the paper. Talk about no faith in your players and throwing them under the bus. Plus, who wants to see an offense that is so poor that a defense must protect it. I actually was getting excited the first drive of the BYU game when they opened some things up. I hope we open it up all game, but I am afraid that will not happen at all.
 
Nothing about this team surprises me anymore, so the eternal optimist in me says we're due for a breakout game. The offense rolls and finally gives the "D" some R&R. All of this will come as a tune up for New Mexico who will provide the Pokes their first road win. I can dream can't I?

Great minds think alike, I didn't even notice that when I guessed that score. I was gonna give the Pokes more points, but until they prove otherwise, I think in the 20's is the most we will get this year, which is pretty sad.
 
24-13, Pokes. BG is reminded early in the 3rd quarter that the only thing in Ohio 7,220 feet above sea level is the occasional airplane.
 
Wake up kiddies. We bean 0-4 Ohio by 1 point and a i-AA team by two and lost to a crappy AFA team.

10-24 Bolling Green with 17 of those points coming of turnovers.
 
In all honesty, I just can't take the pokes in this one. It hurts me to say it but BG is a decent team. They lost the last 2 games to pretty solid teams (minnesota & BSU) and unfortunately I think they rebound against us.

The funny thing about this game is I have a friend whom I've known since 1983 who got her bachelor's at Wyoming and got her master's at Bowling Green State. Without even asking her, I can guarantee you she's at the game Saturday with her husband and 7 year son.

Wyoming 10.

Sorry, guys, but I have no faith in Glenn's coaching or lack thereof.

Only one td for both teams and the rest will be with the legs. Our leg will pull through with the points.
 
This is probably just coming from holding out some last bastion of hope for this football season, but I'm going to go with the defense keeping BG out of the endzone, the offense limiting turnovers, and somehow squeaking out one touchdown in a game full of field goals:
