But the pass hit the mark for the first time today so it was the pass of the game.
 
how did the fumble happen? Stuck out in the field and satellite internet isn't good enough to stream the game...unbelievabohl.
 
The problem for FAU was there was still 2:15 to play and Wyoming had one time out and so they couldn't just run out the clock but their QB should have taken better care of the ball. I'm glad he fumbled it though. FAU after the Wyoming timeout could have just let the clock run down to about 35 to 40 seconds and kicked a field goal. Wyoming seems to be getting lots of breaks this year in these close games .

Yep. The problem was the wizard qb that didn't wrap up the ball with two hands.
 
I gotta say that was like a movie script finish. After the long catch and run I saw the flag down and I swear I almost shit myself. Thank god it was on FAU. On a bright note Kirk had forever to throw that ball. That's great pass blocking. Kirk saved his ass again. He's down to 6 lives from 9 at the start of the season. Just glad FAU is stupid and we took advantage of that.
 
That was probably the fuuugggggliest win I have ever seen, but I'll take it. I'll say it again, you make your own breaks. It may not be evident, but conditioning, never give up attitude, and maybe a little confidence might have helped.
I think close to half the crowd had gotten up and left with about 3 minutes left in the game. By the time they got to their car and heard all the yelling, they had missed it.
 
Why do people keep saying the FAU coach was dumb? I've never seen a team take 3 knees with 2:15 to go and wyo with a timeout. So stop saying it was bone headed. What if Wyoming had fumbled when we tried to punch it in 3 times before we kicked the field goal? Would you say we were fucking stupid because we didn't kneel and kick a field goal? Get over it. FAU coach did what 99.9% of coaches would have on 1st down. It was a good defensive play. Good job Mark!
