I've been a supporter of Kirk, but after four games, if he's still making bad decisions that lead to turnovers, it's time to consider a change. He needs to take care of the damn ball.

I like most things about Kirk, His pocket presence is not one of them. He just stands back there and doesn't ever seem to know when to pull it down and gtfo of there. Outside of that I feel like he has been a pretty solid Alex Smith.

I like most things about Kirk, His pocket presence is not one of them. He just stands back there and doesn't ever seem to know when to pull it down and gtfo of there. Outside of that I feel like he has been a pretty solid Alex Smith.

He needs to learn to utilize his strenghts. What are his strenghts? He's a fifth year senior so maturity and decision making SHOULD be one. He's not a great passer, but he's adequate. He isn't very mobile. He needs to be smart and eliminate the turnovers, otherwise get him out of there and put a freshman in there that has a great arm and more mobilitiy.
