Offensive Overhaul: Taking a Blowtorch to Wyoming’s Offense

I know I have my Brown and Gold glasses on here, but I have this weird feeling that this season will be like Bohl's 3rd year but not quite as good. With the improved offense, we finish 7-5 and we are in contention for the conference championship until about 2 weeks left in the season. I remember thinking in Bohls second year the same way I think now. We were so so bad in Bohls second year. I watched the North Dakota game and was ready to fire Bohl then. Then we got a QB and a good RB and the linemen to match our system and all of a sudden we were competing. It's still a shame that we didn't win it in Bohl's 3rd year. I think we had 11 starters that played in the NFL on that team. Anyway, I think this year will be similar. Good QB, good RB and a line that matches the system better. That and this year's schedule is not as challenging as that season was. 7-5 is my prediction with late losses to UNLV and New Mexico putting us out of contention for the championship. Go Pokes!

Probably going to win 7 games and sawvel will get an extension
I don't think he will get an extension unless he wins the conference. The new President is going to probably be less inclined to allow contracts to be extended based on success under Burman

No brown and gold glasses needed. The schedule is that bad that there is a remote possibility of 7 wins.

The 2016 football schedule was miles more difficult than the 2026 football schedule. I think the 2016 team goes undefeated against the 2026 schedule.

Instead of a safety dance win against #13 ranked Boise State, maybe we can pull a win against newcomer (and last year's doormats) UTEP and Northern Illinois.
