Offense??

I believe that we are running an offense similar to Florida according to J Shyatt. Do we have the players to run that?? IMO, we don't and we are missing the consistent perimeter shooters this year for the offense to click. Our success up to this point is because of stout defense.

Early in the season, I have seen Josh shooting the 2 point jumper and lately I have not seen that at all. Seems to me that our offense only relies on 3 pointer and not the 2 point midrange jumper.

Since we are not counting on Nance or Herndon for the remainder of the season, what do we need to do to tweak the offense to fit the players that we have?? Hopefully, J Shyatt and other coaches can figure this out soon otherwise the remainder of the season will be similar to the last one. Just frustrating!!

Not many teams or players in NCAA hoops can shoot a mid-range jumper. It's gone, thanks to AAU.

And in theory we do have a lot of perimeter players, but it doesn't matter if they can't make their shots.
Or if we can't play fucking defense without Nance.

Our offense was so efficient early on in the year.

So many dunks and layups, outside shots were taken in rhythm, assists and high percentage shots.

Now it's forced 3's, shots taken at awkward moments, assists have dropped off considerably, shooting percentage has suffered, dunks are few and far between.

I might just stop watching OOC games from now until eternity. So deceiving.

You don't see us taking mid range jumpers?
Well, just yesterday, Adams was 4-11 from the field, he was 0-3 from three. A few of those we're lay ups, the rest, mid range jumpers.
And yesterday we took 30 threes. What other game did we try that many outside shots?

it twas sure pathetic in person at the AFA this weekend, keep putting the ball up, won't know if it doesn't go in if you don't try it, can't win if you don't score the damn basketball, Jack Bentz it's ok to pretend to know basketball from time to time
