Of all of the guys who have announced.....

Tyrese Boss and Chris Durr Jr were the only 2 guys that I thought were big losses from a talent standpoint. They are also the only 2 I predict end up on a P4 team. But Durr looked like he checked out a while ago so probably best.
Update:

Tyrese Boss signs with Arizona of the Big 12 and Chris Durr Jr signs with Maryland of the Big 10. Lucas Samsula signs with the Utah Utes of the Big 12. Wes King will also end up on a P4 team (visits to West Virginia and Texas). We had more P4 players than I thought.

Markie Grant signs with Utah State likely confirming my belief that he didn't seem to be a P4 talent from what I saw of him.

Kinda seems like our coaching SUCKED

Which is precisely why I don’t think they will do much under the current regime. We are stuck until that albatross of a contract can be reasonably bought out.
I think after next season the contract can be reasonably bought out. But we are playing what is likely to be the very worst/easiest schedule in all of FBS next year and so there is a decent chance even bad coaching can get the team to 6-6 (and Burman would probably award that with an extension).

No argument here. I just don’t know why mediocrity or worse deserves to be rewarded? Unfortunately, that has been the standard set for UW football since TB took the reins.

The new OC and improved QB play might get us to 6 wins and a bowl.... But everyone is correct that we shouldn't expect another 9-4 season until thw HC improves or is replaced.

Wes King and Luke Sandy leaving hurt the most. Luke could play Center and would have been a starter there more than likely. I am sure they will both end up at a P4 school.
Just to give an update:

Luke Sandy apparently signed with Charlotte and Caleb Merritt with Austin Peay. Have no clue what led those players to their decisions; but it seems that both could have been starters/contributors at Wyoming next year.

I believe Sandy is from Colorado so Charlotte doesn't seem like a logical choice if family was the deciding factor. Had to look up that Austin Peay is in Tennessee (I guess closer to Merritt's Missouri home).

Luke could have been fed up with the OL coach and the rotation he was forced into with Wes King since Wes could never play a whole game. If Luke is going into the IT or Engineering field after graduation then Charlotte is a good spot for him.

I think Merritt was probably asked to leave to open up spots and knowing he would not be more than a special teams contributor.
