A statement University of Wyoming senior center Nick Carlson made after the Cowboys’ 24-22 loss to Cal Poly back on Sept. 15 stuck with me all these weeks after he said it.
Carlson was talking about how there’s such a fine line between winning and losing in sports, especially at this level of college football. He said you could fit the difference between wins and losses on the top of a pin head. It was such a fine line, he said.
After Saturday, there’s not even a line to look at anymore for the Cowboys.
