Clearly just a bunch of words that meant nothing.

When you sign a guy to a guaranteed contract that you can't afford to buy out if he doesn't perform to expectations, then those expectations mean absolutely nothing. Once Burman's signature hit that contract, we were basically stuck with Sawvel for 4-5 years regardless of how the team performed.

Finishing in the bottom half of this conference would be disastrous.
