Yeah, they're a tricky team to start with. If you get them on a bad night, you can cruise. If they live up to their potential, you're in for a dogfight.

They just knocked off Arizona 71-67, Can't take this game lightly.

kinda sucks that they have one more at home against SUU Dec. 27, but we'll be ready I think(hope)

Very concerning game IMO.

No students in town, New Years Eve, MWC opener, UNLV coming in hot, poor overall attendance (lower bowl will be 1/2 empty at best - again), just not a great recipe for our Pokes.

UNLV will be tough, but a game the Pokes should win. The week off will help with fatigue and getting players healthy.

Pokes will have to play well and play smart. Defensively, the Rebels have shown they are shot blocking demons, but they can also be very erratic on the offensive end. Plus, they are a horrific free throw shooting team.

Pokes will need some energy from the fans on Wednesday. Hope we get a decent crowd.

Feel like every game against the top 4 in conference is gonna be a war for us. We just don't have the horsepower to get out of those games easily. So pretty much everyone will be tough. This is at the DOME OF DOOM though giving us a slight edge, always no matter what. Fans or not we'll be tough to beat at the AA. Another thing that might be in our favor is the culture shock for UNLV's young team coming in and them not wanting to be in Laramie on NYE. We need experience to take down youth. You know we can out coach them right? :winky:

Hopefully we can get a decent crowd. Hopefully students that live relatively close will want to head back to town to watch and celebrate NYE with their college friends. MAybe bring some friends from home that don't go to UW. Maybe people from Cheyenne will want to go over and celebrate NYE in Laramie. It won't be a great crowd but it should be better than the last two.

I know that I am bringing anywhere from 3-7 poeple over who haven't been to a game yet this year(some not at all Wyooming fans) to party in Laramie for NYE and check out the game.
