What's your thoughts? We got a player at every position. We have big strong post players in this class. They project to be very good rebounders. Both Lieberman and Gorski can stroke it from the outside. It looks like we might have a couple of defensive lock down guys. We got 5 players that we know will commit defensively.

Just how good is this class?

I think the coaching staff did real well with this recruiting class - they covered every need we had. It will all be determined in the next couple of years.

I love the competition they added at every spot. Look at the potential position battles:

Point: Lieberman and Grabau looks like the cleanest fit out of any position. That's very likely the two deep at point next year.

Shooting guard: Adams, Washington, Gorsky.

Small forward: Hankerson, Mcmanamen, Gorsky, Jones

Power forward: Derrik Cooke, Tyrell Williams, Alan Herndon, Diontae Jones

Center: Larry Nance, Johnathan Barnes, and Matt Sellers.

You've got healthy competition at every position on the team. It looks like our depth just got a lot better.

Hopefully everything works out for all these guys and they all graduate Wyoming Cowboys. This looks like it could be a special class for Wyoming.

Don't forget Diontae Jones in that 3-4 spot

True that. It just keeps getting better. I'll edit it, due to quickly putting that list together and leaving out Diontae.

That's a lot of bodies competing at every spot: great news for Wyoming.

Yes, this looks like a solid class on paper. Congrats to the coaching staff.

I have been and continue to be very high on this class overall. That said, can somebody tell me if there will ever be a dude on our roster who can put the ball on the floor and get to the rack on his own? For all of this class's varied skill set and positional diversity, I still don't see anybody who is a threat to penetrate off the dribble. Dammit.

Adams is not too shabby at taking the ball to the hole - especially in the last part of last season. From what I have seen on their videos, both Lieberman & Gorski are capable of taking it inside. Whether they will be able to do it against MWC defenses remains to be seen.

As WYCowboy mentioned, Josh is really learning how to get to the hole effectively. I think that comes from increased confidence as he continues to mature. When Larry went down, he seemed to take more responsibility onto his shoulders to create.

Say what you will about Desmar Jackson, but that kid could get to the rack and finish effortlessly, especially during his freshman year. There was hardly anyone in the MWC who could guard him effectively. I'd love to see Papa Shy land a wing with Jackson's ability to get to the hole and finish -- just without the baggage.

Josh has really learned how to use his body to absorb contact. Last year he was finishing with efficiency at the rim. He's really gotten better at going to the hoop strong, being able to get hit, and still deliver the hoop. Luckily he's just a junior.

Brad Jones could get to the rim at will. It didn't matter though, because he would miss the lay-up, throw the ball out of bounds, commit an offensive foul, or miss his free throws. It's good to be able to get to the rim, but you better have a plan when you get there.

We still have two years of Josh's growing aerial game. Tracy posted that the Colorado basketball class of 2015 has a glut of players this year. We've got some interesting names in the 2015 class already with Conway, Thomas, Stone...Hopefully, we can find another guy with the skills Josh Adams has in the air.

Ewing was the best I ever saw at taking the ball to the basket. They knew he was going to do it and he did it anyway. I feel bad for him that he didn't have a better coach.
