There's no question its a risk......going big now. We saw what UW looked like without Smith, and it was undoubtedly one of the worst teams in the FBS. The guy needs a better team around him. In that regard, I like the new JC kids.

The risk? God help this program after the 2014 season. They will fall off a cliff like never before with Smith graduating + all these JC kids/experienced players. Could be a complete disaster.

Not one bit. DC / Wyoming need to be competitive this year. And the class last year was largely made up of incoming Freshman, who redshirted. Next years class will largely be made up of incoming Freshman, who will likely have more redshirts as well. It all fits with how he recruits, and has been recruiting.
