Notre Dame AD cancels Weiss recruiting trip

Urban Meyer doesn't seem to be headed to ND.. who'd be next in line? Brian Kelly?

Other than the money I see no reason to go to ND and coach anymore. I think it is a rough job frankly.

I could see Nick Saban taking this job. He has no devotion to anyone but himself, but then again Urban Meyer is the same way. So who knows..

Bob Stoops? I don't see him leaving OU. Brian Kelly may very well be the next ND coach.

Dont count Urban Meyer out yet.. although I don't think he will leave Florida. Florida is a better job than ND, easier recruiting and no academics.

I remember reading a quote along the lines of this from Urban Meyer though.

"I cant imagine ever leaving Bowling Green. Its wonderful and I look forward to continue to build on what we have here in the future."

2 days later Urban Meyer was hired as the head football coach at Utah.

I think ND will go the route of either Bill Cowher or Shanahan from the NFL...or Petrino or Saban from the NCAA.
