That was classic. So was Dembo's friendly smack with The Pit fans when he buried a trey and turned to the crowd and said, "That's a three...and there'll be more."

The positioning of the game isn't ideal, but UNM isn't the same team they were last season. If everyone is healthy, that is a winnable game.

Hopefully the game against Utah State is what clinches the MWC title and the game against NM doesn't mean anything (except the difference between a 2 and 3 seed in the big dance... )

Even in fantasy world where Wyoming wins out and wins the MW tournament we aren't getting a 2 or 3 seed.

they don't scare me like years past and if we take care of business, this is the year of many 1st's for this time, first win at CSU in 6 years, gonna get Fresno out there and gonna go into the Pit and steal one for a change, think we'll be fine

Even as stellar as they've been in years past, we've held our own with them in Laramie and at the Pit. If we go into that game with the confidence we've shown here lately, we should do well.

AGREED, we've only lost by no more than 6 or 7 during the Alford years, I'm comfortable with the visit to the Pit this year...the Larry's have something to prove this year
