Not sure what we have with the offense

The first week the Pokes run for 246 yards, the next they throw 50 times. I understand this has to do with the opponents, but it's hard to say now what we'll see on Saturday against CU, who have looked awful defending the pass and run.

One thing I would like to see is the quarterback take off more. There's been four or five times where the receivers haven't been open and the quarterback has had a nice lane to run through, but either didn't run or waited too long.

I think the Texas game was a "fluke" of sorts. Throw that one out...the 5 net rushing yards along with it.

We all said it was a measuring stick game (Texas)...and that measuring stick tells me we will win 6 games this year, maybe 7. We were 2 plays...a kickoff and QB sack...away from staying a hell of a lot closer than 41 - 10.

Any predictions what Bolling's return will bring to the offense?

Unless Bolling saw the light and errors of his ways, his return will do very little this week. He has my vote for being the biggest disappointment player this decade, next to UW transfer and CU's own Aric Notsogoodman. Wouldn't that be so sweet to watch Notsogoodman shank one and cost the game for the hairy cows? Filthy hippies.

Bolling should have been redshirted his freshman year. They had to have known his academic issues and a year would have allowed him to figure out the school thing, rather than learning on the fly - which has hurt his progress significantly.

Driving home I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if any of the senior Cowboys on the kickoff return team will "Thank" Aric for the Virginia and Syracuse losses, and ultimately a lost bowl game and head coach as well.
