Look folks, we just played two of the top 5 teams in the country - and they are both legitimate. We'll see what happens with Oregon State and Boise...but BSU is good.

This said, ACS has to learn how to do the "read" part of a "read option." I fear a Sophomore slump, we'll see soon enough.

The defense is getting worse by the week. It might be the opponents, but I dare say that AFA will block and defend at least as aggressively as BSU. AFA is similar to BSU in the size and agility of their lines.

All off-season, we heard about speed. Now we need to see it. AFA is the lynchpin - either we'll turn the corner or keep on a bad track.

Good post. The read option blows...we need to get some kind of imagination and a little deception going on offense, or we are in deep shit.

I would rather we tried some run plays OTHER than the read option. Maybe even the speed option would be better. Or just some more simple run plays or something. These read options just are not working.
