It’s over starting next year with everyone playing 8 conference games unless the MWC decides to add more teams for football. If they do in the future then the voting/statistical models could be back in play and those models start with baselines that elevate one team and deflate the next. Prospective results with schedules are much harder to forecast with the transfer portal introducing a plethora of unknowns until teams start playing. Boise was so high rated in those models early on they were basically a lock.
Speaking of the football championship and playing every team, I feel Wyoming has a reasonable chance to win 1-2 conference games in 2026.
