OLD NEWS: On Friday, June 26, 2026, the Department of the Air Force informed the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation that the service of Nathan Pine as the Director of Athletics at the Academy was no longer accepted,” according to the statement. “Given this directive and to ensure mission continuity, the AFAAC Board of Directors has appointed AFAAC CEO Dr. Nancy Hixson to provide these services on an interim basis. I didn't expect NDSU to win, frankly that caught me by surprise. AFA early in the season can be a bitch most of the time, but NDSU handled them, the score was closer than the game, by far.

With all due respect I never buy the “ score was closer than it looks” or “the game was not as close as the score says”.

Teams don’t take it easy or let up at this level. AF out gained them. If AF had 5:00 in the game they would have got them

NDSU will take a couple losses somewhere this conference season.
