Nominate Your Choice Of The..

LOL

NDSU's HC (don't remember his name)
Joe Tiller (at least his offenses were exciting if nothing else) (i know he's retiring after this seasomn with Purdue but we're desperate!)

I will not participate as I hope we turn it around and Glenn is our coach.

I am wondering why we didn't pursue someone like Norm Chow to be our OC. I was excited to see the Titans let him go, then it seemed like the next day Bob Cole was on the Wyo radar. I have seen UCLA play the last few years, and I have seen Neuheisel coach, I truly think the reason UCLA beat Tennessee was Chow-plain & simple.

Why is it so Hard???? Just hang on the the damn ball and throw a few short third down passes and some intermediate stuff to Bolling, he will get it. When are we going to see some play action passes??? my god teams are daring us to pass, we should kill em on these. If a player is bigger and stronger than the defender call a play to that advantage (Bolling, Leonard) if we are faster call a play to that advantage (Moore, Morgan). Hell, if you need to see how they line up wait and call it at the line of scrimmage-who cares? The more I type the madder I get. Figure it out please. That was the worst loss in the history of mankind, a must win game against an inexperienced team, with less resources and recruiting ability. Just horrible.

Hawai'i fans love Norm Chow. His only problem is that he doesn't interview well for HC jobs and he's not the type to butt-kiss alumni and big $$ boosters.

If Joe could run his organization like a business he might be OK. You keep somewhat aloof of the hired help (the assistants and staff). You don't live in the same neighborhood or fraternize regularly with the assistants (you let the assistants do that among themselves). You don't hire friends (unless they are the best candidates). And maybe most important, you grade each person on the staff (and tell them what their grade is) and replace the ones that are performing poorly - whether it's in recruiting, coaching, planning, training, or even cleaning the equipment.
