Colorado St.-Pueblo scored 41 on these Bears. Seriously Pokes...Get. It. Together.

Defense has been great though.

Speaking of defense these Bears scored 36 on CSU-Pueblo. I think this game has really been all about DC trying to get the Pokes out of here with a win and trying not to get Brett hurt anymore than he already is. I think the play calling is directly contributed to that and nothing more. With a healthy Brett I'd be willing to bet he'd already be out of the game and the Pokes would be up by 6 TDs

This is really sad. This game shouldve been a blowout by half and let smith rest. Very poor coaching today.

Really? I don't buy that, if anything sounds more like poor execution. The coaches can't play the game they can only call what plays to run.

Definitely sounds like it's on the players - although Smith's obviously not the same player when he can't run and scramble as normal.

True, but you'll wear a team like UNC down by running the frickin ball. Instead of longball homeruns. Yea the players haven't executed, but we ran the ball the last series and.......? TD.

Against smaller teams, you run run run run. Passing on 3rd and 1??? Complete bs.

Exactly, without a healthy Brett this is what we get. With him healthy this game would've been over long ago. Without that run/pass option out of Brett we become almost one dimensional.

The AFA game should be interesting. The defense will be ready, as will the offense. Hopefully Smith's ankle feels better.

I don't see anything under 3rd and 6 where we passed it on third down and failed... I may have missed it, though.

Crazy ass weather! Leave Brett Smith in the locker room, and get to work on that ankle. We will hold on with Thorton. Wonder how many people will be left in the stadium when the game starts back up?
