No players drafted.

I believe Chris Prosinski was our last player drafted, 4th round isn't bad. Look how well Unrein and Gipson did as undrafted guys! We had 5 players sign free agent deals.

Did you honestly expect anyone to get drafted this year?

I do believe you may see Robert Herron get the call next year.

Only thing that may hinder Herron in the draft is his size. Yeah, he makes secondaries look like upside-down turtles and has good hands, but the scouts will be wary of his size.

Smith may be a hindrance to his stock too. I remember Hawaii's smaller WRs Bess and Grice-Mullen putting up absurd numbers, but went undrafted because they were deemed a product of the guy throwing the ball.

That said, I think Herron goes anywhere from the 5th to 7th round. Not easy to find guys who get behind the secondary with ease.

Who turned out to be a dud in the pros. :roll:

Speaking of Bess, he got traded from Miami to Cleveland this weekend which means his NFL career is pretty much done.
 
Purcell deserved to get drafted and will show people why in a few years. He is in a perfect situation to develop in San Francisco where he should make the practice squad. In a few years he will be another solid rotational guy like Mitch Unrein.
