I hope he's in a UW uniform next year. Meaningless game other than pride, so no sense in risking injury.

We all would do the logical thing and not use Svobada at qb, but coach dumb dumb will do the dumb thing and play Svobada.

This absolutely underscores the need to have true depth at every position.
I acknowledge it is unreasonable to expect that a program would have 3 QB’s who are all excellent and could start for most teams.
The problem with Bohl ball (and continued under this staff) was that he had too many years of average QB play surrounded by decent talent and when the starter went down so did the offensive performance of the team.
I most certainly hope we get a glimpse of Batiste if he is capable. Think about this - if Batiste is not capable and Anderson becomes unable to play next year we definitely will be hampered.
Enough of the hanging on to developmental QB’s who are still learning how to throw the ball years after high school. This staff is unable to teach throwing so if you don’t already have the passing skill set your 6’5” body won’t be much of a benefit to the offense.

This is correct. Svboda has played qb, but this should hurt his chances at being on the 2 deep. Coaches will say he’ll give us the best chance to win but anyone who has watched knows this isn’t true.

Svoboda is 100% getting the start. Baptiste hasn't dressed all season, so no chance he'll see the field. The backup is Gage Brook. If we see anyone but Svoboda it will be him.
Our QB room is in pretty bad shape. Clemons leaving was less than ideal, Svoboda was a huge miss, and the only other viable option we had was Anderson (who is a stud). Drube is going to be the backup next season guaranteed.

I hope a true freshmen shows enough promise behind Anderson to be backup but I’d be surprised to see him as a #2 just from sheer experience in the system.
