You would think that the host would ask him why he left the team or something like that.

The only thing Karsten continually brings up is his religion.

Did God tell him to quit the team and become an assisstant coach at a high school?

Oh well, Go Poooooooooooooooooookes!
Quit the team? Karsten graduated 2 years ago. You must be thinking of ACS.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Karsten played his entire NCAA eligibilty with UW. He even stuck it out after losing the starting job (and the back-up job) after DC was hired.

Those people that constantly bring up their religion are a pet peeve of mine though. :D

I think it's great how he explains his faith. And he didn't really bring it up. It's his job. FCA. So he explained what he was doing. Karsten is and always will be one of my favorite players. The guy is real. He's got true class. And if he lives buy his faith, he definately shows it.

The interview was with Sween, not ACS.

Not sure WTF is going on here...but I have a ton of respect for Sween (for many reasons). ACS...different deal.

This thread was derailed from the start. Let's try to get it back on track:

There is an interview with Karsten Sween up on kfbcradio.com. Great kid, great interview. Sports Zone is an awesome radio show.
