Yep. He has had trouble all year with forcing stupid shots at times when he doesn’t need to. Now he is still forcing shots and missing a bunch of easy ones. If he wants to take that many shots he needs to make them or pass the ball back out and reset the offense.

I don’t share this optimism. I think pokes need to win MWC tourney to go to NCAA. There will undoubtedly be upsets stealing bids.

This team has WAY over-acheived. Picked 8'th and challenged for 1st. No depth, and two players accounting for 51% of total points? That is not a winning formula. Linder has shown a ton of talent, but this team is at least a couple of players away from being competitive in Quad 1 play.

Agree. Wyoming is in 4th place now and likely to finish there. So our first MWC tourney game is against UNLV.

ESPN bubble watch just updated. It says Wyoming will try to hold on to a potential #9 seed with a win over Fresno St on Saturday.

Hmm not sure, I guess every one seems to think the MWC is just that good and Wyoming can still get a 9 seed if they beat Fresno St.

I found out on another thread exhaustion isn’t valid, when I brought up fatigue. I was told, these are D1 athletes - dammit. Every team plays 4 games on little rest. Who knew .

One interview I saw said he was trying to get a medical redshirt. So I don't think we will see him again this year

This is exactly 95% of the problem IMHO (except for Reynolds - but that is not enough)

Linder tried to have a deep bench early in the season, but it just wasn't in the cards. We haven't seen Dut, Nelson, Foster, or Grigsby since conference play started. Dut and Nelson just aren't ready to play against high caliber opponents. Grigsby has only played in garbage time. Foster can't stay healthy this year.

I can guarantee that this will be a focus in the offseason. We NEED another big to compliment Ike. Oden could be that guy, but he isn't there yet. Barnhart (RS Frosh) is a 7 footer, but he's a beanpole. We need some toughness inside badly.

We also need a ball handler in the worst way. Reynolds definitely fits the bill, but we have to have more than one. I've got high hopes for Ben Bowen to fill in there. DuSell has shown flashes, so he may get there as well.

All-in-all this season has been a resounding success. I'm as frustrated as anyone in how it's ending, but the fact remains that this is the start of something very special.
