Sorry for the last post. I was out of the country and just got back. I finally got to watch the game.

Wow, pretty exciting finish.

I think you guys are on the way up. I was impressed with your play to the very end. Looks like a sign of good coaching.

I doubt we will play again in the foreseeable future. As I mentioned, I am way in the minority in wanting the series to be reactivated. As one of the few fans of both teams, I would love it, but BYU fans don't really want it and Wyoming seems to still be bitter and I don't know that you really recruit in Utah and it would be tough for BYU to do a home and home (lose a lot of money) and I know you wouldn't do a one and done in Provo. I don't think Wyo fans really want it, so even though Holmoe said he would do a home and home, I doubt it could ever be worked out. (SDSU is the team from the MWC that we really want the home and home with).

Anyway, both our futures look pretty bright.

BTW, "F-U BYU" lost the shock value about 25 years ago when we started hearing that word in every movie or cable show made. The F-U chants are hardly fresh and make you look sophomoric. You hate BYU, we get it (we hate Utah too, probably for the same reason - they always beat us) You can cite all the holier than thou and bad treatment examples, but the true reason for the hate is that BYU has Wyo's number. You ought to find something a little more original than F U BYU.

And finally (I might as well finish my rant) I read on here that you don't care about BYU? It's no rivalry. Right. That's why you tore down your goal posts 13 years ago (your last victory) when you beat a 4-8 BYU team by 3 points. (which was BYU's worst team in the last 40 years)

Anyway, believe it or not (and I already know you don't care) but I'm a Wyo fan.

I thought we lost you when we all showed you what trash some of your fans, players and coaches can be with news articles, videos, etc.., after you repeatedly kept bringing up the same old urine balloons bs, yet had no proof other than "someone said..." or "I heard...". We SHOWED you the trash among your legions, not the rumors and fairy tales that you presented.

You said that we shouldn't bother replying as you won't be returning, but I know you are reading this. However, I personally forbid you to comment on this board again, and I know you don't have the balls to challenge my direct order. So you are dismissed.

Now how can I explain this so that you might understand? We don't care about BYU football, and I am certain most BYU fans don't care about Wyoming football. Your example regarding the goal posts, BYU bad year, whatever. This happened when we DID care about BYU football, as you were in our conference and we played you often. If you somehow came back to the MWC and we beat you, maybe we'll pull the goal posts down again. So, BYU in conference=interesting. BYU not in conference=not interesting. Got it?

I knew little about BYU this season, until it appeared we may be playing you if you could earn your way into our bowl game. So I looked up your schedule and saw that pre-season it looked like a monster, but turned out to be fairly common. You were lucky to play so many teams having down years. And I agree that we probably will not be playing each other any time soon, as BYU will struggle to reach 6 wins for years, which means no bowl games for the BYU football team. Yes, your SOS will be impressive, but your win/loss, not so much.

And seriously, enough with the "we can't do a home and home as we'll lose money". You CAN do a home and home, as the one thing you guys have figured out is the money. Your membership dues come in by the bucket load. Hell, if BYU needed money the tuition wouldn't be what most community colleges charge. No, it's not the money, it's the home field advantage. Home field increases your chances of winning and winning helps you towards your goals.

You think the F U BYU chant sounds sophomoric, it's supposed to! And the "hate" you say we have towards BYU is due to losing more often than not; if that was the case we'd be hating half the teams we play.

At the end of the day, the BYU football program is fading away like Idaho, UMASS, etc. You had a good year and a good team this year, but without Bronco to bring in recruits, no conference and NO rivalries that anyone outside of Utah cares about, BYU will become a footnote. You guys did this to yourselves. Goodbye.
 
1st: F U BYU
2nd: I may be in the minority on the board, but I'd make a small bet that most WYO fans would like to see BYU back on the schedule at least every few years. But only if it's home and home deals with the holier-than-thou jack asses from Provo.
 
I love how he thinks we say FU byu to get under their skin...hahaha, no we say it because seriously, fuck you byu! I'm not one to advocate violence, but if that university (minus the people) suddenly went up in a ball of flames, I would be the first one there with marshmallows. Not exaggerating, I would seriously celebrate.
