I predicted he wouldn't last long (mostly because of some apparent maturity issues). But getting cut within a week after being paid a small amount of guaranteed money and after a mere 2 days of rookie minicamp is quite shocking.

I would bet there is a back story involving conduct rather than playing ability.

He hasn't signed anywhere else yet at this point. Given the critical timing, his NFL options may have been exhausted. Could be a guy who goes to the XFL and proves himself but I'm not sure he has that maturity either.
