NFL Draft Rounds 4-7

This is brutal. This seems like a good time to remind folks that Kellen Moore went undrafted too. He's still in the league.
 
At this point, its better for Brett to go undrafted. Don't get Colt Brennan'd by being drafted late by a team that doesn't even really like him. Test the market and go where he's most wanted/best situation.

Also, remember, guys, even Curt Warner, former QB for the Rams, went undrafted as well.

Still, it probably feels like a kick to the groin for Brett. Even fucking Garret Gilbert went before him. :willybs:
 
I feel like it's a kick in the groin for Brett. He's a better QB than more than half of those that got drafted. That said, he should have stayed for his senior year.
 
Here we go. Its 2014, and I still hear Hawaii fans thinking Colt Brennan could make it in the NFL (its been 6 years since he was drafted). Its a rough road....Poke fans will defend Smith for years to come.

He won't need to be defended next year he will prove himself.

Defend him about what? You saying he wasn't worth anything? He holds a lot of records at Wyoming and will be remembered as one of the best QBs we have had in quite a while.

Defending his ability to make the league.....Colt Brennan, Kellen Moore....lots of QBs that weren't that great (some awful) go ahead of guys who had stellar careers. Brett may never really get a chance to show what he's capable of....its frustrating.

and I'll be one of them, but who ever told him this was his year year I want to kick in the nuts. I still think he will catch on a team, and prove himself. I will always wonder if this is a daddy trying to live vicariously though his son. Don't know enough to really know, but will wonder. Go Brett..... earn it the hard way!
