Next years Texas game

I would call the UW Ticket Office or go to the UW Athletics website. The website is linked on WyoNation's Main Page listed at the top of this page. Don't wait - they may be gone.

I'm a big Poke fan (my daughter attends UWyo) and couldn't justify season tickets just to go to the Texas game since I live in Denver and have a job that requires working random weekends. I did secure two 3 packs of tickets (Weber, UNLV and BYU) but would be pleased peachy for the opportunity to buy 2 reasonably priced tickets for the Texas game! BTW, I'm the guy that makes a lot of noise during opposing 3rd and longs, chants "block that kick" until hoarse and stays until the clock expires no matter the score. Sooooo if anyone has extra tickets and you want them in the hands of a rabid Poke fan, drop me an email PLEASE! Thanks.

They are going for almost 400 on stub hub, so you've gotta believe many Wyomingites are going to cash in on this. Additionally, with a going rate like that, you can bet national scalpers have already got in on, or will get in on the money to be had via the online ticket office.

What I am a little unsure about is what is for sale single game ticket wise? It said in the Trib that only 1500-2000 tickets would go on sale to the public. How is that? They said 5,000 were allocated to Texas. There can't be 25,000 season ticket holders! Did all of the single game tickets go to season ticket buyers?

Oh well, it looks at this point like I will be back at UW for the fall, so all I care about is how many students are going to be let in. I still remember standing in line at 5:30 am for the WNIT championship, which turned out to be unnecessary as people arriving at 11 and 12 got in just fine! But it was totally worth it. I think we drank a fifth of vodka by 10, and had a fifth of pepp schnapps delivered @ 11. I don't really remember the 2nd half of the game. I'll be totally down for one more morning like that should it be required for Texas @ UW.

30,000 total
-5,000 Texas
-7,000 Season Tickets
-7,000 Student Body
-7,000 Tickets bought by season ticket holders
= 4,000 left over

I could be wrong by a 1,000 or so on those, so yeah - 1,500-2,000 left over

I think it is only 4000 for texas but your other numbers look correct. You also have to throw in all the tickets being bought by CJC before they go to the public

Just purchased tickets for me and my son about an hour ago. Any suggestions on places to stay in Laramie? Right now I have a reservation at the 1st Inn Gold, but it doesnt look like much to write home about.

Oh, and you guys may get to miss out on Sergio Kendall. He had a 2am wreck a couple of nights ago that could possibly lead to a team suspension.

My cousin runs the Holiday Inn in Laramie. Walking distance to the stadium. Give it a call and see if there's anything left. Last time I talked to her she said it was full, but things may have changed since then.
Laramie Holiday Inn

The 1st Inn Gold is kind of on the edge of town and is alright but I would agree it is nothing to write home about. The Holiday Inn, Hampton, Comfort Inn, and Hilton are all near the stadium and within walking distance but it may be hard to get a room in any of them for that weekend. There is also a Best Western and an AmericInn but just like the 1st Inn Gold they are not within walking distance of the stadium. Those are the ones I can come up with off the top of my head.
